On Deck at the AzMNH...

This summer has been a crazy mix of excitement and fun at the AzMNH. From "Prehistoric Preschool", to "Rulers of the Prehistoric Land, Sea, and Sky", to "Survivor! Mesozoic Apocalypse Night at the Museum!", the AzMNH has been busy, busy, busy!

We've had a some really fun times for sure, but the fun isn't over! Not by a long shot. We've got a couple of new events up our sleeves for end of summer and beginning of fall!

First up is "Jurassic Park II: Movie and Paleontology Discussion"

On August 24th, at 6pm children (ages 8 and up) and adults are invited to view the blockbuster film "Jurassic Park II" in its entirety, and participate in a lively discussion about the tricks and truths behind the making of the film. The movie will be shown on the big screen in out theater. The cost is $4 for children, $7 for adults, and members are free. Have your dinosaur questions ready!

This fall, the AzMNH will be hosting "A Night With the Stars"... No, not those Hollywood types! The REAL stars of our solar system!

On September 22nd, come on down and explore the cosmos with the AzMNH, East Valley Astronomy Club,  The ASU Astrodevils, and the Desert River Audubon Society! Join us for a magical night as we take a trip to the stars through the telescopes of the experts! The event will take place on our rooftop deck, where we will have an unobstructed view of the stars! Cost is $4 for children, $7 for adults, and members are free! This event is fun, fascinating and educational for adults and children alike!

Stay tuned for information on more upcoming events, as well as the Halloween version of "Overnight at the Museum"...Over night events are a kid favorite, and always a spooky good time!
